What This Man Is Caught Doing Looks Absolutely Horrifying At First. But Check This Out... Unreal.

For some people around the world, a flooded river is serious business. It’s not just what you talk about at the water cooler that day. Take the Sam Lang village in Vietnam, for example. When the local river was flooded, the nearby suspension bridge was rendered useless. Travel was impossible and the village’s children couldn’t get to school. But that’s when one heroic father stepped up and did the unthinkable: he put those kids in plastic bags.

As you can see here, this father is putting a child into a plastic bag…

Daily Mail

But it’s not a crime.

Daily Mail

In fact, he is trying to help.

Daily Mail

This caring citizen is attempting to help children at a Vietnamese primary school get to class during extreme flooding.

Daily Mail

A nearby suspension bridge was broken, so the dad put the kids in bags to keep them dry.

Daily Mail

Then, he crossed the river with them.

Daily Mail

His devotion to these kids was filmed by their teacher Tong Thi Minh.

Daily Mail

The teacher told the newspapers, “It’s normal. That’s the only way to cross the stream because no bridge can stand floodwater.”

Daily Mail

It’s incredible that THIS is how the children stayed safe!

Daily Mail

It seems unorthodox and unsafe, but swimming across was the only way to get to the school. The current was too strong to use the bridge. The caring father didn’t mind slogging across the swollen river. He just wanted these kids to get an education that day. Now that’s inspiring. Here’s the unbelievable act on video:

Why This Stranger Picked Up Some Drunk People Is Shocking. You Have To See This.

On June 22nd, 2013 at approximately 3:00 am, a man named Matthew Cordle killed Vincent Canzani while drinking and driving. On September 3rd, 2013, Matthew posted a video online. It was titled, “I killed a man.” In the video released by Because I Said I Would, he confessed to killing Vincent while he was driving drunk. Seven days after the video was released, he was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. The mandatory prison sentence in the state of Ohio is between 2 and 8 years; he was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. This is the video:

The man who filmed this video decided to spend a night driving drunk people home. He “wanted to spend last night doing what Matt would have done if he was a free man.” As a result, multiple people who were drinking arrived home safely and will remember to be responsible in the future.

He stood outside holding this sign.

“The first group I picked up was a bachelorette party. I let them play their own music. No joke, they played “Call Me Maybe” twice in a row and not on accident. They were very nice and kept trying to tip me. Of course no tips were accepted.”

“Bobbi, the girl in the passenger seat is sneaky though and left behind $38. This will be donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Vince’s memory. “

“The next couple I picked up just became homeowners. Getting a DUI can be financially devastating. Good decision guys!”

“One guy I picked up claimed that he helped create the “We are the World” remake music video that benefited Haiti in 2010. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He seemed sincere. He said that he got the opportunity to meet Justin Bieber. How unfortunate.”

“[He] also wanted to tip, but instead made the promise to donate $20 to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. Legit.”

At the end of the night, he stopped by Taco Bell where the line was long… and probably full of drunk drivers.

“I drove people around for about 4 hours. No one puked in my car so I consider that a win.”

“Because I said I would” is a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept.

What These Kind People Did Will Make You Feel Better About The World.

Let’s face it, the world can be a pretty tough place. That’s why it’s important to highlight the glimmers of hope that arise from seemingly nowhere and remind us that it can be a great place. If that’s hard for you to see during your day-to-day life, these stories will drive that point home.

Some people are kind beyond expectation – it’s a wonderful thing.

1.) This Iraqi refugee lived off only welfare from Australia until one day he made money and paid back every dime.

2.) Florida Millionaire Harris Rosen changed the future of this neighborhood by providing daycare for free and college scholarships to all the kids — sending the graduation rate from 25% to 100% while cutting crime in half.

3.) After recieving number 51, Ichiro Suski wrote to the famous Randy Jackon (another former 51) to promise not to dishonor the number.

4.) Stockholm will collect moving violation fees and pay a “safe driver” a lucky lump sum of the money.

5.) Billy “Piano Man” Joel regularly gives away the front row seats to people sitting in back row.

6.) George Zimmer, owner of Men’s Wearhouse, doesn’t do background checkes on any employees. He believes in the power of the 4th Amendment.

7.) 1994 MVP Hakeem Oujowon sold his own shoe line for $35 to avoid the insane prices sold by Nike. He did it help out single moms who otherwise couldn’t buy them for their kids.

8.) Giving away 99% of his $6.3 billion to send impoverished kids to college, Chuck Feeney is a hero.

9.) The same nuclear reactor that melted down in Japan a few years ago is the same that survived because of a concrete fence built 5 times higher than required. The designer considered people “human trash” and this to be the solution.

10.) An Indian male tiger adopted some orphan cubs recently. It was the first time such behavior had ever been recorded.

11.) Volvo, known as one of the safest cars around, invented the three point seat belt and gave everyone free licenses to use it too.

12.) In the tales of amazing, two surgeons once operated (successfully) on a collaposed lung during plane ride using only a tube, coat hanger, and brandy.

This Guy Left A Massive Tip For A Bartender. But The Reason He Did It Is Even Better.

For many people, pets are part of the family that their owners would do anything for. Bartender Christina Summitt was an animal lover. She adored her dog Tucker, so she had a paw print tattooed on her wrist. She was working when a couple she was serving noticed the mark, and asked her about it. Christina revealed then that she had a Great Dane-black Labrador mix … and he was sick.

Tucker had to have surgery after swallowing a hard plastic ball. She wasn’t sure how she would be able to pay for her pet’s medical expenses.

After the couple closed out their $80 tab, she noticed something incredible. They left her an enormous tip.

(H/T Elite Daily) The couple gave her an extra $1,000. She told them she couldn’t pay for the veterinary hospital expenses and was already working three jobs in order to support her family. They decided to give her an incredible helping hand. She was in complete shock and just hugged the two strangers that helped her so greatly. Tucker’s surgery was a success and now he is at home recovering, all thanks to the kindness of strangers.
