Sen. Ted Cruz: Today Republicans preserved their right to surrender

Senate leadership today might have reached a compromise that will avert Majority Leader Harry Reid’s threat to use the “nuclear option,” but it was Texas Sen. Ted Cruz who dropped a bomb this evening. The Senate was saved, and Reid expressed his hope that Democrats and Republicans will once again work together to further the Democrats’ agenda.
