Depression’s subtlety represented in upside-down ambigrammatic ads [6 pics]




The suicide prevention organization Samaritans of Singapore recently ran several magazine ads featuring images of graffitied ambigrams which, at first glance, show a positive statement, but that reveal a much sadder message when the page is inverted. The ads’ tagline (which is printed upside-down, so readers will know to flip the ad over) reads, “The signs are there if you read them.”…
