To launch Seattle Public Library’s 2013 Summer Reading program, 27 volunteers set up and toppled the world’s longest book domino chain in the library’s breathtaking flagship location. I have a hard enough time keeping books from falling over my nightstand, but they made this wonder with 2,131 retired titles from their catalog. The result is a giddy book-nerd world record.
They promise that “no books were harmed” in the making of this promo video, and that the books will be resold to support the program.
