Univision president latest to equate handguns and WMDs

Add Univision president and CEO Randy Falco to the list of people, including the New York Times’ Nick Kristof, who no longer distinguish between handguns and nuclear and chemical weapons. The horrific shooting in Newtown, Conn., took place just four days ago, so we wouldn’t call the government “slow to address” assault weapons.

Come to think of it, we also wouldn’t call the weapons reportedly used in the massacre assault weapons. We wouldn’t even call it ironic, but perhaps a bit short-sighted, that the one television network to press President Obama on the Fast and Furious debacle during the presidential campaign season is only now demanding action on assault weapons.

@randyfalco @jorgeramosnews ironic that an administration which oversees a gun running operation then wants gun control policies. Weird

The weapons that crossed the border via Fast and Furious have been involved in hundreds of deaths, and the number is still rising. Will Univision demand answers?
