1. Sara Schaefer and Nikki Glaser
Before Nikki and Sara were the best thing that ever happened to MTV, they were a couple of strangers who decided it would be fun to do a podcast together. If you go back and listen to early episodes of You Had To Be There you can actually hear them become friends. While they don’t do the podcast anymore and Nikki And Sara Live was deemed too beautiful for this world, these two will always make us laugh.

2. Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson
If you watch Broad City – and of course you do – you know that Abbi and Ilana’s friendship is everything. Absolutely everything. Through poop and pussy weed, they’re there for each other. They’ve always got each other’s backs. The only thing stronger than their love for each other is our love for them. If you can’t wait for season two, go back and watch the web series that started it all.
3. Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham
These two became friends while taking Improv classes at UCB in New York. They’ve parlayed their friendship into two excellent shows: the brilliant-but-short-lived Best Friends Forever and USA’s Playing House. They’re creative soulmates and we hope they stay best forever and ever.

4. Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata
Waiting for new episodes of Girl Code and Saturday Night Live to come back? Watch Nicole and Sasheer’s hilarious web series Pursuit of Sexiness instead. Their friendship is as heartwarming as their misadventures are hilarious. 5. Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome
Since Kate and Riki formed Garfunkel and Oates in 2007 they’ve performed together on stage and screen, recorded hundreds of songs and released one of the best music videos of all time. As if that weren’t enough, they have a new show coming to IFC in August. Never stop singing ladies!

6. June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson
These funny ladies have been inseparable since college. They met during a clowning class at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and have been making people laugh ever since. They’ve written dozens of movies, sketch shows and pilots together, including their latest film Ass Backwards.
7. Alexandra Fiber and Danielle Gibson
Remember when people thought you couldn’t be girly and funny at the same time? That was stupid. But if you know anyone who still needs convincing, show them Alexandra and Danielle’s hilarious, ultra-girly web series SRSLY. From rude shop girls to ill-advised cleanses, the show affectionately skewers all things ladylike. You’ll definitely be #obsessed, if you aren’t already.

8. Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart
Meet Grace, Hannah and Mamrie a.k.a. YouTube’s Holy Trinity, they’re conquering the internet one hilarious vlog at a time. They drink! They pun! And they’ve got millions of followers between them! They’ve made movies, gone on road trips, written books and starred in shows — all while regularly posting videos to their individual channels It’s Grace, My Harto and You Deserve A Drink. They’re some of the hardest working ladies in showbiz and you couldn’t stop them if you tried. But, honestly, why would you want to?
9. Chelsea Handler and Whitney Cummings
Way back before she had her talk show, sitcoms or development deals, Whitney was the just the best panelist on Chelsea Lately. Remember that? It was awhile ago. Instead of forcing her friend to keep playing second fiddle, Chelsea helped Whitney move on to bigger and better projects. She even produced Whitney’s talk show Love You, Mean It. Here’s a vodka toast to many, many more years of love and laughter.

10. Amy Schumer and Jessi Klein
Inside Amy Schumer is one of the best sketch shows on television and it wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for Amy’s friend and fellow comedian Jessi Klein. Comedy Central had originally wanted Amy to host a talk show a la Chelsea Lately, it wasn’t until Jessi told Amy took make the show of her dreams that Amy decided to make a sketch show instead. Now Jessi is the show’s head writer and we all get the last laugh.
11. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Tina and Amy are the best of the best and they’re even better together. It’s been more than a decade since they first made us laugh on Saturday Night Live and they’re still going strong today. Whether their starring in a new movie or hosting the Golden Globes, we’re always happy to see them. They’re basically the Platonic ideal of a funny-girl friendship. Long live the comedy queens!
