These Photos Are Just Unreal...Oh, And Really, Really Small.

Some might call Satoshi Araki obsessed. Araki builds highly detailed miniature models depicting the grittier side of city living, with a touch of dystopian dread.

You have to see the detail on these models. I would totally believe these were pictures of a real place if it weren’t for Araki’s fingers in a few of the shots.

Wow. This almost looks Photoshopped.

Looks just like parts of New York City.

A dystopian alternate reality.

That’s a brutal scene.

Look at those tiny soda cans. Amazing.

It’s always important to recycle.

An abandoned farmhouse.

An old bike shop.

This even has posters for the old Batman movie.

A tiny scale camera.

Such attention to detail.

A banana peel.

Painting on the graffiti.

Nothing like a little cleaning help from Wall-e.

Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the ground. It’s amazing he can paint at that level of detail, and at such a small scale, too.

You can see more of Araki’s work at his website and on Facebook.
