When Brad Joyner was diagnosed with brain cancer last year, he decided he wasn’t just going to fight it — he was going to live his life to the fullest while doing so.
According to Twenty Two Words, Joyner created a “living list” (his noticeably more optimistic version of a bucket list) that included swimming with sharks and driving a classic Mustang.
However, there was one item on the list that was particularly ambitious: meeting Bryan Cranston, the former star of “Breaking Bad.”
Joyner had always been a fan of a show, but he forged an even deeper connection with lung cancer patient Walter White when he received his own diagnosis.
After Cranston learned of the fan’s quest thanks to a #BreakingBrad campaign on Twitter, the two were finally able to set up a time to talk.
You can watch an excerpt of the conversation below, but the real treat is getting to watch Joyner’s reaction when he learned his dream was going to come true.
