Steve, a retired iron worker from Illinois, built this awesome backyard BBQ steam engine smoker over the course of three years. According to his son, “the fire box is from an old farm house wood stove and the wheel rims are from cut up fence posts. He built the water tank and whistles himself from scratch” [source].
Now that’s a backyard DIY project!
