Available from WABA Fun, Kinetic Sand is the sand “that breathes motion.”

The sand compound is pliable and dynamic, and seems to have similar properties to brown sugar–without all the sticky mess. 

The commercial was posted in August, but is trending now more than ever! It is also featured on popular blogs, such as LaughingSquid, BestOfYouTube, DailyPicks, and MilkAndCookies.

Giant Robot Snake

Canadian scientists in East Vancouver, BC, created this gigantic, working, slithering robot snake. They named the bot Titanoboa as a metal reincarnation of the ancient 50ft long serpent rendered extinct so many years ago. The video is shared on YouTubeTrends.

Rebooting In The Afterlife Of The Future

Being able to upload one’s mind to another entity, and continue on with life has been a science fiction dream for ages.

Tom Scott made this seemingly very possible reboot simulation of what ‘dying’ in the future may be like when corporations own the ‘afterlife’ market. Like all things tech today, you’ll be asked to sign away nearly all your rights in an end user agreement.

Nearly a year ago, DIY science nerd Brusspup published a Dripping Water Illusion Created With Sound video that became a viral hit. That video currently stands with over 4 million views. 

Now, Brusspup has returned with a second iteration of the experiment, only with much cooler visual effect. Using speakers set to very specific frequencies, he creates out of this world water illusions by recording at certain camera shutter rates.

Already, the new video stands with over a quarter million hits.

Parkour Gym Has Mario Obstacles

Tempest Freerunning Academy just opened and to promote the gym they developed this video. They are California’s first indoor training facility solely dedicated to parkour. They even have a Super Mario obstacle section. I guess Mario was the first guy to ever pull off parkour. Think about it, he bounced around blocks and jumped off mushrooms and turtles. This is the first time Nintendo has made an appearance at any auto show, but NOA wanted to create a buzz about Super Mario Kart 3d like never before. They teamed up with West Coast Customs, famous from the Pimp My Ride TV show, and created two unique, full sized Mario Kart vehicles. The classic kart with hang glider, and the Bumblebee airplane.
