Where the world’s spacecraft take off





Many thanks to Timothée Raimbeaux for sharing the above map, which shows which spaceports in the world have successfully launched satellites, with Know More. Perhaps a probe bound for Saturn’s moon Enceladus will be launched from one of these spaceports in the future, since scientists this week reported the presence of a liquid sea beneath the moon’s icy exterior.
