Great TV is often made great by its characters — and the outstanding actors who play them. The animation above casts Zooey Deschanel as Daenerys, Aubrey Plaza as Ygritte and Michael Cera as — wait for it — Joffrey.
As you’ll see, cutesy, jaded and awkward don’t jive well in the Seven Kingdoms. Fortunately, the Game of Thrones casting directors knew better than to give their lead roles to indie darlings.
